Superbowl Weekend in Dallas is a Great Opportunity for P3 Mouthguards

Dr. Moreau was one of 4 dentists from across the country who had an opportunity to participate with P3 Mouthwear in MMG's Big Game Weekend events in Dallas this past weekend prior to the Superbowl.

MMG's 2-day Big Game Weekend, held at a hotel venue overlooking the city skyline, was a chance for the group to demonstrate P3 Mouthwear, the next generation in custom-fitted mouthguards that offer power, performance and protection. This is the same technology used by Dr. Moreau in 2009 to help make performance guards under another company name for about 22 Saints players during their Superbowl season. About 100 NFL athletes and several celebs visited the P3 suite where the doctors were demonstrating the impact that correct neuromuscular position can have on athletic performance.

The mouthguards are based on neuromuscular technology we use to successfully treat TMJ sufferers, but is also shown to significantly improve strength and range of motion. Additionally, the guards are manufactured in a way that allows the athlete to experience improved oxygen intake with more open airways, it helps protect the teeth from injury and also reportedly offers added protection against concussive injury because of proper jaw alignment and locked-in position of the teeth which can help absorb impact.

Dr. Moreau was joined at the event by P3 CEO and former Canadian Olympic hockey star Brad Layzell and ESPN Top 100 Pro Golfer and P3 Golf Director Scott Munroe. According to an email this morning, the event organizer was so impressed with the demonstrations and "the buzz" it created among the athletes and celebs, that P3 has been invited to participate in additional upcoming national sports events.

Dr. Moreau was interviewed for "Inside DFW" TV show

Dr. Moreau believes the P3 Mouthwear company represents the future of scientifically designed athletic mouthguards, not only because of its performance enhancing qualities, but because the company has developed a technique for effectively producing similar results with an entry-level guard that's more affordable at all levels of sports.

"It's important to impress on high school athletes, as well as professionals, the benefits of wearing a custom-fitted mouthguard that offers safety, protection and performance," Dr. Moreau said. "As they grow up through various sports programs, they'll be comfortable with a mouthguard and more likely to use one throughout their career. It will help them push the limits of their performance but also guard against injuries."
