Fox News Features CEREC Technology

I was just having my Saturday morning coffee when I happened upon a Fox News feature on CEREC dental technology. Since we've been using the CEREC since 2005, I paid close attention to see what they had to say. According to their report, there are 10,000 dentists in the U.S. using the technology.
The benefits to the patient are that a crown, veneers, bridgework can be completed in a single visit, saving the patient the inconvenience and discomfort of having to submit to goopy impressions and return for a second visit several weeks later to deliver the completed porcelain restoration.
With CEREC, the impressions are taken digitally so there's no putty impression material. The restoration is designed and created at chairside with CAD-CAM computer technology and then milled from a solid porcelain block while the patient waits (less than an hour).
Fox News did a good service for dental patients everywhere, except that they gave an erroneous website for finding a CEREC dentist. But, look no further, if you are reading this, you have found a CEREC dentist! Good job, Fox News.
