Smoooooth Summer

We've started making smoothies for patients who have long appointments, show up for their appointment with an empty stomach, or may still be a little numb when they leave the office. We have several flavors to offer, depending on our mood...or yours. So far, the response has been tremendous. Just another facet to that 5-star service we want to extend to every patient. :-)

Bluebirds Have Hatched

...and for this week's live entertainment at MoreSMILES, we have "the singing bluebirds. " After only a few short weeks, we heard tiny chirping noises yesterday from the birdhouse on the fence outside our operatories. And today, Shannon reports seeing little heads peeking out the entry door in between feedings. As if that's not enough, the Easter lilies are just about to burst open as Spring fades into Summer. And if you haven't been in for the last 2-3 weeks, you might have missed the poppies altogether - a new addition to our garden this year purchased at the Madisonville plant sale.

Do You Look Forward to Dental Appointments??

We send out Smile Reminder text and email messages to our patients ahead of their appointment to find out if there are any specific things we can do to be prepared for their visit that day. Here's a response we received yesterday:

"Look forward to visit. It will be pleasant as usual. Thank you"

I love it! I'm so happy we can make someone feel that way about a dental visit, and our hope is that ALL our patients will feel that way.

What can come from "Customer Love"?

Knowing our mission to exceed all our patients' expectations in every way, our very good friend Mike gifted us yesterday with a book called "Customer Love." It presents stories of how companies have come up with creative and effective ways to provide great service to their customers. Our friend thought that our team would eat it up, and he was right.

We routinely brainstorm to see if there's something we haven't thought of yet that might make our patients' experiences with us even better. We carefully scan the horizons for new technologies that might benefit our patients and provide greater convenience, comfort or results in the dental chair. And we continually challenge the things we've already been doing that have been successful to make sure we're consistent in our delivery of excellent care and excellent service.

So, naturally, I expect this book will provide plenty of food for thought. Cindi has already proposed a plan for digesting the book as a group and then stimulating discussion to see what ideas we might apply.

Hopefully, you'll be pleasantly surprised in the future to find that we've ramped it up even more and yet again exceeded your expectations for dental care and service! Thanks Mike...we love ya!
